Appearance
Vance is 188 centimeter in height, which makes him kind of large for his age. He has dark brown hair and it's always messy with or without his gel. He has olivegreen eyes, no extraordinary long eyelashes. His eyebrows are more prominent and a very important facial feature of him. His cheekbones are rather discrete. His jawbones on the other hand are clearly visible. His body is rather trained, yes he has abs, not to impress, but just because he likes it. His facial expression is mostly stern or a toothless little smile when he is amused. When he is angry his look intensifies and he glares at you with what his friends call 'the deathstare'. His dark expression sometimes make him look possessed.
Personality
Vance is a rather closed person, although is much of a talker, which is strange. Most people will describe him as mysterious, and if they know him: very stubborn. If he thinks he's right, he is right and he won't let go of his point of view. This makes him a difficult friend, but there's loyalty in him, even though he is not a Gryffindor, he has the courage, but he is too smart not to be a Ravenclaw. Vance is very stern for his age and doesn't like to be messed with. He is a very independent individual who likes messing with peoples head, you could say he is very manipulative and he uses this skill without anyone noticing. He is pretty brutal and isn't affraid to fight, nor with words, nor with violence. He's the one that puts Ravenclaw upside down, because his personality isn't the stereotypical Ravenclaw. He's rebellious, not afraid to pick a fight or throw an insult at your head. Which is not a Ravenclaw-like attitude, not that he cares. He always promised to be loyal to himself and to others. He absolutely can't stand arrogant people, he feels obliged to reduce their ego, the moments he throws insults at everyone. He also does not like when they gainspeak him. His humor is rather cynical since he doesn't like all the 'unicorns and rainbows' style. He also is rather energetic and very sportive, he sure likes Quidditch. Why is he in ravenclaw? That's what you would be thinking, but Vance has a photographic memory, which means he can remember he has ever seen. It should be a blessing, but Vance looks at it as it is a curse. He remembers every moment from the day he turned five untill now. He really hates being lied to, so when he discovers you will be ignored for a week. Maybe longer if he really thinks it's something grave. He is a rather intuitive person and quite reckless, he would even shoot before questioning his captive. He is quite protective towards people he loves, he would die for them, if he had to, which marks his loyalty again.
Pet
Vance has a cat named Ramone, after the punk rock band The Ramones*. Ramone is a wayward creature and does whatever he pleases. It embarrased Vance at first, but now he doesn't even send him away. His cat has three stages of being: itterly lazy-mode, utterly on 'too much caffeine'-mode and utterly annoying mode. The two last ones mostly look almost the same, or even combined.
Extra
He absolutely loves punk rock, which makes him an exception, because is quite loud and screamy.
Vance is a friend of Lilly's an extraordinary combination, but it works out pretty well.
*I looked this up, it fits in the background. The Ramones were formed in 1974 and had a hit with 'Blitzkrieg bop' in 1976, I guess they're kind of known.

Walsh his anger is easily triggered, which makes him a walking bomb. An unfriendly remark can make him go from extremely happy to outrageous. And when his undying rage shows, you better hide and don't bother him again. It awakens his most violent side, so there might fall some victims. The teachers know he has such tantrums, so they mostly ignore him, but when he starts trashing thing they try to restrain him and fasten him to something solid untill he is calm.
