It's around 10 o'clock in the morning and everyone is arriving at the school. A new year has started. Tonight will be a welcoming party, but right now you just have to find your room and unpack your things.

I lift my suitcase out of the bus and put on my ray-ban sunglasses. Behind me the doors of the bus close as I look around me. The bus drives away and slowly I start to walk towards the huge building that lies in front of me. So this is going to be my new home? For now. I don't think I will endure very long, probably not even the first month, but that's okay, if not, I'll just find somewhere else to life.
I see - or more smell - a girl walk past me. My lips grow into a grin, maybe I could just enjoy an early lunch before I find my room and unpack my things. I grap the girl by her wrist and turn her around.
'Don't make a sound and come with me,' I say, using mind compulsion. She nods and I take her with me behind a big three. As soon as we are out of sight I lean forward and set my teeth down on her soft skin. She doesn't scream, but she struggles underneath my firm grip. I grin and feel the delicious blood stream out of her veins. When I've had enough to drink I compel her to forget everything and let her go. That was a nice drink, maybe this place isn't so bad after all. I lift my suitcase up again and continue walking towards the entry of the school.

Lena Brunland [Halfblood-PJ]

Lena slams the taxi cab door behind her, dragging her luggage along the ground and ignoring everybody in her way. Just don't make eye contact. She thinks, turning up the volume on her phone and focusing on the music. She navigates her way through the halls until she finds her room, Room 4. Lena sighed one last time, preparing herself, and walks into the empty room. She closes the door quickly behind her and collapses on the bed.

Valentina "V" Venice Vaughn | Dhampir (VA)

Literally three seconds out of the bus, V was already in a bad mood. The wheel of her suitcase had broken off, which meant she had to drag the thing all over campus towards her room. Now, she might be a Dhampir, but heavy weight lifting wasn't something she felt particularly excited about. She lifted it up with a soft grunt and started walking towards her new dorm room. With the incident she and her (ex-)roommate had last year, she was surely hoping for someone more pleasant, or atleast, tolerable. Knowing her luck though, that was most likely not going to happen. When she had to walk a very steep hill to get towards her room, she suddenly felt that taking the two extra pairs of shoes with her was a mistake, god damn, this was some hardcore cardio work she was doing here.
Of course, when she stood at the top of the hill, she saw a normal path right next to it. "Thank you, extraordinary Dhampir eyes, for not seeing that," she softly muttered to herself, dropping the suitcase for a second to take in the view. That's when she noticed the bloodsucker behind a tree. Now there could be two options, this guy could be a Strigoi, which is a very evil bloodsucker, or just a normal vampire-y evil bloodsucker. Either way, the drinking didn't look entirely voluntarily to her, so she took out the stake in her pocket. With her trained skills and Dhampir abilities, she sneaked down towards him in complete silence, crouching in the bushes, her stake ready. She jumped out when he turned to walk away, a small mischievous smirk on her face. He was definitely not Strigoi, but drinking from someone who definitely wasn't a designated feeder, well, that tended to fuel her anger.
"You picked the wrong day to get your freak on, vamp," she told him, her body and stake ready to strike. "and you better give me a real good reason why you did that, or I'll drive my little friend here through your old, decayed heart."

Frankie Davies

Frankie had only been on the campus for five minutes, and she was already feeling anxiety induced stomachache approaching. It probably didn’t help that she was still feeling dizzy from the apparition to the new school. This wasn’t like her… at all. Normally, Frankie would confidently stride into a room and all of her friends would immediately flock to her. Now, however, she was completely alone in a school filled with kids she didn’t know and wasn’t sure she’d want to know. While wandering the campus in search of her dorm, she had only encountered one other student from Hogwarts, who had been proudly sporting a Gryffindor scarf, but Frankie was sure that they had never met. She finally found the girls dormitories and set to work searching for Room One. It couldn’t be too hard, right? It is Room One, after all. Frankie stopped in front of her door and unlocked it with her key, dragging her trunk behind her and into the room. Relieved to find her new home empty for the time being, she plopped face-first onto her decided mattress, and let out a deep sigh. “Ugh, pull yourself together!” Her words muffled into the mattress, where she stayed for about another minute or so. Mustarding all of her strength, she sat up and evaluated the room. A noticeable frown slowly formed on her face. “It’s far too…boring.” She reached for her trunk and took out a rolled up poster. Unraveling it, she admired her heroes that were constantly animate, stuck in a loop of the same quidditch play, over and over. “Chudley Canons sure know how to brighten up a room.” A frown took over her face as she realized a flaw in her plan. “Tape, I need tape.” The mattress gave a squeak of relief as she stood up and made her way for the hallway. Frankie stuck her head out the door and yelled into the crowd of people getting situated. “Anyone got some tape?”

Dash Jackson

Dash stepped out of the taxi cab, pulling his small amount of luggage out with him. He looked up at the large school, already feeling a small tug in his stomach that he was not going to do well academically. Well… at least I’ll be able to make some friends! He thought to himself, trying to stay optimistic. He looked up and smiled at a passing girl, offering a friendly wave. She looked him up and down, scoffed, and spun on heel to walk in the other direction. “Great,” Dash sighed, self-consciously pulling his bag higher onto his shoulder. He reached deep into his back pocket and put on his sunglasses, trying to look cool and blend in. He slumped his shoulders and took slow, long strides. His attempts to be “cool” only went in vain, since he almost immediately tripped over… nothing. Dash grunted as his body hit the ground and his sunglasses went askew on his face. “Loser!” An anonymous voice shouted, followed by a view laughs. “It’s cool, it’s cool! I’m okay!” Dash said, scrambling up and instinctively ruffling his light blue hair. “So uh, does anyone happen to know where Room Six is?” He asked no one in particular.

Lena Brunland [Halfblood-PJ]
Lena glanced outside from where she lay, deciding to take advantage of the weather for once. She slugged up, rubbing her eyes, and grabbed her bag and writing journal and headed to the door. Before she exited, she checked herself in the mirror that hung on the wall. Her blonde hair rested against her pale face, and the dark circles under her eyes seemed to be more prominent today. All she wanted was to go back home. Not to her host family's home, her real home. She sighed, fogging up the mirror, and exited the room. When she was outside, she chose a low hanging tree, dropping yellow leaves on the grass, and sat beneath it with her journal in hand.

I hear a voice behind me and turn around. A stake is pointing towards me and I sight deeply.
'See, that's why I keep my identity to myself, people don't like it when I just try to take a sip,' I say. I look her in the eyes, she looks like a normal human but so do I. Well, we'll see.
'You probably think you're brave and all, but you are not. I can kill you in less than one second, so put down that "friend" of yours and walk away or you will be in big trouble, understand?'
I wait for her to drop her weapon. I knew this was going to be a problem. There would be vampire hunters on this school, but they weren't going to catch me. I have had to deal with those hunters my whole life, so if this girl thought she would make a chance, she was completely wrong.

Being the quidditch fan as I was I flew towards the school, which I was send for a year by my parents, on my broomstick. My gryffindor scarf was hanging loose around my neck. I wore a pair of low black converse and a dark pair of skinny jeans. On top of that I wore a black hoodie with two thin lines at the bottom, a red one and a yellow one. My hair was flying around my head. When I saw the school I picked up my enchanted backpack ,which looked small but was very big from the inside, and my wand. I stood on my broomstick and had to gain my balance for a couple seconds or I would fall down at the pavement. Being who I am, I jump of my broomstick when I'm about two meters near the ground. My broomstick falls on the ground and I put it in my backpack. I see a couple of faces who've turned to me, some full of disgust, some with approval. Most faces turn away when I walk toward the building. It's a big building, and don't get me wrong, it looks nice but still, it isn't Hogwarts. Hogwarts was huge and magical. This school's well.. boring. It has next to no decoration although it has a forest on the right side of it. I wander around and since I don't know which door's the entrance, I just pull open the door which is the closest and walk inside. Luckily, it's the entrance of the building. I walk to a pin board because, well, I see pieces of paper on it and since there's no one else here I might just take a look at it. Coming closer I see that written on the pieces of paper are names and room numbers.  Great, a room mate. I read the list and figure I have to go to room five. Which is on the second floor. Because I walked stairs a lot at Hogwarts I take the stairs to the second floor and man, those stairs are boring. They don't move and have no decoration. I sigh when I stand in front of my door. Laziness is my friend at the time so I don't search for the key, which we got sent home a week ago together with a list of rules, I just put up my wand and murmur "Alohamora." The door flies open and I put my backpack on one of the beds.
Right now I'm walking towards the forest to see if I can talk with someone. I'm bored, and when I'm bored I usually plan pranks with my friends but taken I don't know anyone in here I just sigh and sit at the bottom of a tree with my wand in my hand, creating little blue birds to fly around.

Mollie -Time Lord-DW
Mollie was late. As usual. She didn't know why she had decided to come to the school, maybe it was because she needed a distraction. 60 years living on planet Earth, and Mollie was getting bored. She had heard that humans were lovely creatures, but sometimes they really could be boring. Two weeks ago, she had regenerated for the first time. Every cell in her body changed, and put her in a 16 year olds body.

Mollie walked up the steps to the school, hearts pumping. Years of experience told her that she shouldn't be afraid of new places, but something about this place was different.

When she made it inside, she realized that most students had arrived the day before, so she kept her head down and found room 2. She opened up her suitcase and pulled out the essentials, but she left everything else inside. Some of the alien technology was dangerous, but Mollie figured that she would need it one day.

Isla took off her sunglasses and looked up to the big building, her new home. She only had her rucksack and long spear with her, which was not much but still everything she owned. The cap ride to the school had been awful: she could swear that the cap driver was a monster, but luckily it hadn't attacked her. Few of the teenagers wandering in the school grounds gave her a suspicious look. Isla was used to it, mortals found it difficult to be around her, thanks to her father Thanatos, god of death. She answered to their looks with a radiant, yet sarcastic, smile. She walked up the stairs and entered the school. She saw a boy with a light blue hair (Dash Jackson Nerdyrose ) stumbling and she let out a quiet chuckle. "My room is 3, would you like to keep looking together?" She asked, walking over him. She didn't introduce herself since she expected that he'd most likely be scared of her and run away.

[Bilbae]

Bilbo arrives with a smile but guarded eyes as he makes his way to his room. He unlocks the door, fumbling slightly with the keys, but manages to get in without dropping too many things from his pack. Seeing that one bed has already been taken, he moves to the other, opening his suitcase to take out his clothes and begins organizing and putting them away. He mutters spells under his breath to make the task more manageable and smiles once everything is tucked neatly away. He decides to read until his roommate returns and he can greet her properly, but his eyes grow heavy and he curls up tiredly on the bed, falling into a restful sleep.

The vamp was arrogant, and that made her nearly burst out in laughter. Nearly. She tightened the grip on her silver stake, circling him, like an animal hunting for her pray. Her brown eyes burn in to him, the feriocity of a fight already burning in them.
"Oh please," she rolled her eyes at him and let out a soft sigh. "I've taken on the real bad guys before, Strigoi three times stronger then you, and I've got the marks to show that I was the one who made it out alive." As on que, she felt a soft tingle down the back of her neck, where her molnija marks showed how many she had killed. Six of them already, which was something most adult Guardians couldn't even say they had.
Her whole body was itching to attack, but she was waiting him out first, wanting to see his movement patterns and speed before she returned the strike, just how she learned it back at her old school. They always saw her as the lesser threat, and oh, how wrong were they. She might be skinny, but she was packed with pure muscle from all those years of sparring and training with the other Dhampirs.
"Now, you get one chance to explain yourself before I kill you and drag your even more lifeless body to the principal." She threatened, the fiery look still in her eyes and playing on the grin on her lips.

"Some help would be greatly appreciated." Dash replied, slightly surprised someone had actually stopped to help him. He did a quick double-take at the weapon his new acquaintance was holding. "That's a rad spear, but I wouldn't have that thing anywhere near me. I'm pretty much the essence of bad luck!" He said, already getting nervous at all the possible things that could go wrong. The sharp glare he received from her was enough to tell him that that spear was not leaving the girl's side. "This school's weird, but in a good way...I guess." The clumsy boy with the flamboyant hair admired as he walked the halls. He then turned back to the girl and offered her his crooked smile. "The names Dash, by the way." He stuck out his hand for her to shake, which was a pretty lame move for a guy trying to be cool.

Isla gave the boy a death glare (her speciality) as he mentioned her spear. As the boy kept rambling while they walked throught the halls of the school she couldn't help but chuckle. As the boy extended his hand she looked at it haltingly for few moments before shaking it. "Isla," she said flinching ever so slightly as her cold hand met his warmer one. She hadn't touched any living person in a long time so she had forgotten how... How living they felt. "I like your hair. It's different," she commented, peering up at his blue hair.
